Souper Spices Review & Giveaway

I love to cook and when I got a sample of Souper Spices in my Out of the Box Sampler box I just had to contact them and see if they were interested in a review and giveaway. Well… happy to say they (Barbara) were.

I received Poultry blend, Pasta blend, Seafood blend, Split pea soup, black bean soup, Lemon Herb Rice, Harrys Hot Sauce to review. Well the minute my box arrived and I cut it open I could smell the amazing scents of fresh spices, blends and herbs. I love the smell of spices and knew I just had to make something asap!!

I was making fish for dinner so decided to try the Lemon Herb Rice. Wow… the smell while the rice is cooking fills your house, and the taste is excellent. The lemon doesn’t over power, but yet it is there. I love lemon added to many things, but never have I tried it with rice. I am now sold! Loved it! As did my hubby.

I decided the other day to make my famous homemade chicken noodle soup. Famous because I am old fashioned and still make homemade noodles Well, I added the poultry blend of spices to my soup, and have to say it gave it a flavor I had been trying to get and never could. Wow… it smelled so good while simmering. Smelled just like Gramma’s house

I can’t wait to try the other blends I got from Barbara. The hot sauce smells so good, and we are a hot wing loving family so after the holidays I will be trying that. As well as the black bean soup ~ my hubby has been asking when I will be making that.. LOL!

I love the fact that all these blends are natural, no extra stuff and no msg! I can’t have stuff with msg as I get an instant headache…and that isn’t fun!!
